Fans on social media have reacted to Charley Hull smoking on the greens at the 2024 Maybank Championship. The English golfer has been making headlines throughout the season for her smoking on the course. She has been spotted with cigarettes multiple times this year.

Once again, Charley Hull was spotted smoking on the range during the recently concluded LPGA Tour event. The tournament concluded with its finale on Sunday, October 27. A video of her smoking was shared by Nuclr Golf on its X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:

"#DART SZN — LPGA superstar Charley Hull ripped a dart on the green during the @maybankchampion. Charley finished T12 this week."

Taking to the comments section, fans called her the face of women's golf, while some gave her a new nickname.

"I smoke quite a few more than I should" - Charley Hull on her smoking habit

Hull became the talk of the town when she was first spotted smoking at the 2024 U.S. Women's Open during a practice round while signing autographs for fans. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old opened up about her smoking habits and said (via USA Today):

"My dad smokes 40 a day since he was 12 years old and now he’s 75, and my nephew smokes who is like 25. My whole family smokes, so it’s not something that I’ve noticed being odd. I hate smoking. I used to curse at my dad when I was younger for smoking, but I think it’s to do a little bit when I’m stressed.”

She further revealed that she usually smokes more when she has a slow round. She added:

“When it’s a slow round on the golf course. I smoke quite a few more than I should.

At the recently concluded Maybank Championship, Charley Hull put forward a decent performance and finished in a tie for 12th place. Ruoning Yin won the LPGA Tour event.

Hull started off her campaign at the Maybank Championship with a round of even-par 72, carding five birdies, three bogeys, and a double bogey. She shot a second round 70 with four birdies and two bogeys, followed by a third-round 69. In the final round, she shot a 65 with seven birdies and finally settled at 12-under for a T12 position.

This season, she played in 15 tournaments and has recorded some impressive performances. She made the cut in 13 and recorded four top-10 finishes.
