Charlie Woods made the first hole-in-one of his career in the second round of the 2024 PNC Championship with his father right by his side. The feat had fans and commentators buzzing with excitement. But for the 15-year-old, his immediate reaction was one of disbelief.

Charlie played a 7-iron with 176 yards to the pin at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club's fourth hole in Florida. Following the ace, the Benjamin School golfer had a conversation with Golf Channel and talked about his emotions.

He said (via X @GolfChannel):

"I don't know. It was a perfect seven iron. So I just kind of hit it. Just 175 [yards], a little down off the left. Little cut seven [iron]. I mean, it was awesome. I didn't think it went it. I don't believe anybody until I go up there and see it."

Here's a look into the rising amateur's interview following the incredible milestone (via X @GolfChannel):

Charlie started the ball a little left of the pin and wanted the ball to cut mid-air, and it did just that. His candid reaction highlighted not just the humility of the 82-time PGA Tour winner's son but also the surreal nature of his accomplishment.

Tiger's reaction to Charlie Woods' first career ace at the 2024 PNC Championship

The PNC Championship is one of the PGA Tour's most anticipated events of the year as it produces the most wholesome moments between professional golfers and their families. Tiger Woods had the pleasure of witnessing his son's first-ever hole-in-one this week at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

Charlie hit his tee shot on the par three fourth hole but did not realize that he had aced it as the hole is hidden from the tee box. According to Golf Channel's Steve Sands, Tiger had to step away for a minute and missed the moment.

As the 82-time PGA Tour winner walked back out onto the tee box, he heard the roars of the crowd and was in awe of his son's achievement. Sands said during the broadcast (via X @GolfChannel):

"And guess what, his father was actually not watching. He had to take a break for a second. He comes back out, hears the roar of the crowd, and Charlie Woods has made an ace here at the PNC Championship to catapult Team Woods into the lead all by themselves."

Tiger did not hide his joy and immediately went over to hug Charlie before playfully shoving him to express his joy for the budding golfer. Here's a look at his reaction at the 2024 PNC Championship (via X @GolfChannel):

Still a sophomore in high school, fans worldwide will be watching the young amateur closely and eagerly awaiting his future in professional golf. Teams Woods holds the lead along with Team Langer at the 2024 PNC Championship with five holes left to be played.
