Charles Howell III won the LIV Golf Mayakoba event and received $4 million in prize money. However, it's quite less compared to prize money of recent winners of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour events, Chris Kirk and Marcel Siem respectively.
Kirk registered victory at the 2023 Honda Classic and took home a cheque for $1,512 000 while the Indian Open winner, Marcel Siem earned $340,000 in prize money.
The LIV Golf has a purse of $20 million for a non-cut event, while the PGA Tour event has a purse of $8.4 million, and the DP World Tour of $2 million.
