Collin Morikawa reflects on the "many ways" he can judge his golf performance

Collin Morikawa is currently playing at the Sentry in Hawaii. The golfer talked about the tournament as well as his mindset on Thursday.

The Sentry marks the first event of the year in the PGA Tour calendar. Morikawa opened up about his playing approach when he was asked how he judged himself. He said there were "many ways" one could do that.

"There's many ways to judge yourself. You look back, and I grade myself on a good season when you win, but this year I'm going to take it one round at a time, one tournament at a time, and really try and do my best," he said (via ASAP Sports).

Morikawa added:

"I did that -- everyone does that at the end of the season because it's the end of the season, but how do you have that mentality early on and say, Okay, I've got four days, like, let's put it all out there and then see what happens."

Morikawa is currently ranked T8 in the ongoing Round 2 with a score of 7-under.
