Bryson DeChambeau was a featured guest on the latest video from the Mr. Beast YouTube channel. DeChambeau's participation consisted of competing against an amateur player in a one-hole match for a $100,000 prize.

The hosts of the YouTube channel established the rule that the amateur's hole would be 50 times larger than Bryson DeChambeau's hole. This was done to level the playing field for both players, considering that the two-time major champion is one of the best professional players in the world.

Throughout the match, there were several complicated situations as both Bryson DeChambeau and his rival sent balls into the water. One of the funniest moments came when the amateur asked for what he called a "classic" missed putt from DeChambeau:

"I just need like, just classic Bryson. Just miss a putt and I should be okay." [13:19 - 13:22]

Bryson DeChambeau responded to these words with astonishment:

"Wow...Wow." [13:23 - 13:24]

DeChambeau did miss his first putt (about 10 feet) and finished tied with the amateur at five strokes. At that point, the show hosts tossed the balls back to the fairway and both competitors played from there.

Bryson reached the green with a wedge shot and left the ball about 15 feet from the hole, while the amateur sent his ball into the water. DeChambeau tried to putt with his second shot, but the ball rolled off the edge of the cup and traveled about two feet.

The reigning U.S. Open champion finished the job with his third shot, while the amateur barely reached the green. The $100,000 prize money was donated to the charity of DeChambeau's choice.

The video was posted on Mr. Beast's YouTube channel on Saturday, November 30. In just three hours, it has been viewed more than 12.7 million times.

Other stars present besides Bryson DeChambeau

The video, posted on the Mr. Beast YouTube channel, brought together several superstars from different sports. The goal was for them to compete against ordinary people in tests related to their respective sports.

In addition to Bryson DeChambeau, the video featured former National Football League (NFL) star Tom Brady, Olympic and world champion sprinter Noah Lyles, Major League Baseball (MLB) star Bryce Harper, and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Brady lost a passing test at various distances to a high school player, while Harper lost a batting contest to a junior player. Lyles won two tests against an average person and a content creator known as IShowSpeed.

James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, better known on YouTube as Mr. Beast, launched his channel in 2012. His content is primarily based on elaborate challenges and lucrative giveaways. As of November 2024, his channel has over 333 million subscribers, making it one of the most popular on the platform.
