Harry Hall failed to qualify for the 2024 Open Championship as no spots were available. Hall recently emerged victorious at the ISCO Championship 2024 at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
The winner of the ISCO Championship 2024 was expected to qualify for the Open Championship at Royal Troon. However, the spots got filled up and he will not be making it to the final golf major of the year.
However, Hall won't be too disappointed as his wife's due date falls on July 19, as per WTVQ. He said (via WTVQ):
"I might not play next week. I probably won’t."
Harry Hall tied for the first place at the ISCO Championship 2024 with Zac Blair, Rico Hoey, Matthew NeSmith, and Pierceson Coody. All five players had an aggregate score of 22-under 266 after 72 holes.
In the playoffs, Blair and Hoey were eliminated after only making par on the first extra hole. Hall won the tournament with a birdie on the third extra hole against Matthew NeSmith and Pierceson Coody. He chipped a birdie from 45 feet and six inches away.
Talking about his birdie, he said (via WTVQ):
"Before I chipped that, I was thinking that (my college coach) would have loved to see me win a PGA Tour event by chipping it in. That was really nice."
Hall completed his studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019.
How much did Harry Hall win at the ISCO Championship 2024?
Harry Hall's victory at ISCO Championship 2024 earned him $720,000 of the total prize purse of $4 million. He also received 300 FedExCup points and jumped from 134th to 80th in the standings. The victory also earned Hall exemptions from the 2025 Sentry, THE PLAYERS Championship, and the PGA Championship.
Hall also got exempted from the PGA Tour in the winners' category till 2026. The English golfer has been playing in the United States and hopes that the win will pave the way for him to compete in his home country. He said (via WTVQ):
