On Saturday, October 19, former President Donald Trump praised golf legend Arnold Palmer during his recent rally in Pennsylvania. However, during the ten-minute praise, he also went on to share "shower details."
Donald Trump is a former president and a Republican presidential candidate in the upcoming election. He is also an ardent golf fan and can often be seen playing a round or two.
While addressing the Latrobe crowd on Saturday, Trump went into too much detail while speaking about the local hero.
"Arnold Palmer was all man," he said. "And I say that with all due respect to women—and I love women. But this guy, this guy, was all man. He was strong and tough. I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there and said, 'Oh my God. That's unbelievable.' I had to say it. I had to say it.
"We have women here who are highly sophisticated, but they used to look at Arnold as a man. He was really something special. Arnold was something special," he added.
The 78-year-old added that it was an honor for him to be there because of Palmer.
"He was a great man, and I don’t think there would be golf to the extent that we have it today without the great Arnold Palmer."
He concluded by saying that he had to include the shower part because it was a true story, and he wanted to be honest.
What is Donald Trump's handicap?
According to the USGA GHIN (Golf Handicap Information Network), Donald Trump has a 2.5 handicap. However, he has been accused of cheating in golf.
Last year, Trump claimed to have won the Senior Club Championship by shooting a 67 and beating two senior professionals. This year, he claimed to have won two more championships.
"It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, awards night, to receive the Club Championship Trophy and the Senior Club Championship Trophy. I won both," he wrote on social media.
Trump also owns several golf courses, which have hosted some of the LIV Golf events in all three seasons so far.
