Wesley Bryan is gearing up to participate in the upcoming 2024 Creator Classic. The tournament will be played on August 28th at 4 pm ET at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
However, in a recent post on X, Bryan has slammed the PGA Tour and its media team. This was after the release of the Creator Classic Power Rankings. The rankings were published by Golfbet and shared by PGA Tour.
It listed Bryan at the top spot, but put his brother and fellow content creator, George Bryan, at seventh.
Wesley Bryan quoted the post and called out the PGA Tour's media team as 'lost.' He said that everyone involved in the rankings should be ashamed. He wrote on X:
"I don’t know who @Golfbet is, and I don’t know who at PGATOUR approved this article. Everyone involved should be ashamed….don’t think for a second you can put George at #7 and expect me to not go headhunting. The @PGATOUR media team is lost, with no chance to recover from this"
George Bryan teed off at the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic this year. He failed to make the cut by three strokes after he scored 73 and 70 in the first two rounds. In 2023, he also played at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. He tied for 69th at the tournament and won $13,325.
