Ex-Tiger Woods coach drops a 2-word verdict on LIV fan's view on TGL and simulator golf

Tiger Woods ex-coach Hank Haney dropped a two-word verdict on a LIV Golf fan's view about the TGL series. The legendary American golfer has created a brand-new golf series featuring some of the top-ranked golfers on the PGA Tour in collaboration with Rory McIlroy and Mike McCarley. The series is making headlines for its unique simulator-format game.

TGL matches are scheduled to take place on simulators, featuring six teams and only 15 holes. Recently, a LIV Golf fan shared his views on X. The fan praised the series, calling it:

"Accessible for the elderly, people with restricted time, and the physically impaired."

"Simulator golf will be played by significant amount of people in the future. It's makes golf accessible to the elderly, people with restricted time, physically impaired. Here in UK I play a lot of simulator golf due to the winter conditions. I'm hoping TGL goes well," the fan wrote.

Tiger Woods ex-coach Hank Haney expressed his opinion about the fan's view, writing:

The TGL is a tech-infused series, that will take place indoors at the Sofi Center. The matches will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays. The first season of the TGL was initially planned to start in January 2024, but the dome of the venue collapsed ahead of the season's start, leading to its postponement to 2025.

When Will TGL start in 2025?

The first season of Tiger Woods' TGL will start on January 7, 2025. The opening match will be between the New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club. There will be 15 regular matches, followed by semifinals and a final for the top-ranking teams. The regular matches will wrap up on Mar. 15, and then the semifinal will take place on March 17 and 18, followed by the final on March 24 and 25.
