Former United States President Donald Trump has challenged Joe Biden, the 46th and current United States President, to a $1 million charity golf match. This comes after the two presidential candidates discussed golf during the first presidential debate in Atlanta on June 27. Biden had also talked about having a driving contest with Trump during the debate.

Now, in a recent rally at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami, Florida, Trump said (via NUCLR GOLF):

"I'm also officially challenging Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf match right here on Doral's Blue Monster, considered one of the greatest tournament golf courses anywhere in the world, one of the great courses of the world."

Trump said that if the golf game happens, it'll be the most-watched sporting event in history and will break the records of the Ryder Cup and the Masters. Trump further showed his confidence by saying that he'll give Biden an additional advantage in the game. He said (via NUCLRGOLF):

"And I will even give Joe Biden 10 strokes aside, 10 strokes, that's a lot, that means 20 strokes in case you don't play golf. I will give him 10 strokes aside and if he wins I will give the charity of his choice, any charity that he wants, $1 million. And I'll bet you he doesn't take the offer, because he's all talk."

In response to Donald Trump's comments, Biden's campaign spokesperson James Singer took a jibe at Trump saying that he hasn't been seen in public for 12 days and now is challenging "the President of the United States to play golf."

Singer further said that Biden would prefer challenging Donald Trump to create jobs, take a firm stance against Russian President Vladimir Putin, and abide by the law. He further said that Biden doesn't have time for Trump's antics as he's busy leading America and defending the free world.

LIV Golfer Bryson DeChambeau offered to host the golf match between Donald Trump and Joe Biden

Bryson DeChambeau had earlier offered to host the golf match between the two presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden after the first Presidential debate.

DeChambeau took to X and wrote:

"Let’s settle this whole handicap debate, I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden."

Biden and Donald Trump discussed their golf handicaps during the first Presidential candidate. When asked how fit was he to lead the country at the age of 78, Trump said (via 11alive):

"I just won two club championships, not even senior. Two regular club championships. To do that, you have to be quite smart and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way. And I do it. He couldn't do it, he can't even hit a ball 50 yards."

In the response, Biden said that his handicap was six when he was the Vice President (via NUCLR GOLF):

"Look, I'd be happy to have a driving contest with him. I got my handicap, which when I was vice president, down to a six. And by the way, I told you before, I'm happy to play golf if you carry your own bag. Think you can do it?"

Trump said that it was the biggest lie. As per an article by Golf Digest, Donald Trump has a handicap of 2.8 whereas Joe Biden has a handicap of 10.
