Charley Hull won the 2024 Aramco Team Series last week in Riyadh. She registered her first win of the season and a fourth win on the Ladies European Tour after a couple of close finishes on the LPGA Tour earlier this season.
The British golfer recently gave valuable advice to budding golfers and their parents. She asked young golfers to chase speed and advised the parents:
"Get them to hit the ball as hard as they can. They can always rein it in when they're older. But they will be grateful for the power they already have."
Hull herself is one of the longest drivers on the LPGA Tour, with an average driving distance of 271.28 yards. She is ranked 13th in the average driving distance and fourth in the strokes gained off the tee on the LPGA Tour in 2024 so far.
Charley Hull's performance on the LPGA and Ladies European Tour in 2024
Charley Hull had an incredible season as she became a well-known golfer thanks to the cigarette. The 28-year-old golfer was snapped while smoking on the golf course during the 2024 US Women's Open, which brought in mixed reactions from fans.
However, this ensured she became a well-known name, giving her all the attention on and off the course. This helped her perform well on the course as well, as the British golfer registered four top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour this season, with her best finish coming at the Dow Championship and Women's Scottish Open, where she finished T5 and 5, respectively.
