Golf influencer Hailey Rae Ostrom ‘shocked’ by the 2024 Creator Classic result

Golf influencer Hailey Rae Ostrom was shocked by the result of the 2024 Creator Classic. The PGA Tour recently concluded the new golf event featuring only content creators.

Held at East Lake Golf Club on Wednesday, August 28, the event included 16 content creators competing in a nine-hole game, with Luke Kwon ultimately winning the tournament.

Recently, social media sensation Ostrom took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to discuss the event's inaugural edition. She expressed surprise that Wesley Bryan, who was expected to be a top contender, did not win the tournament. However, she praised Kwon, describing him as a "great golfer."

"What did you think of the Creator Classic?? I didn’t watch so I want to hear your thoughts! Was it only 9 holes? I’m shocked Wesley didn’t win! But I’ve heard Luke is a great golfer. I’ve been looking for the final results & can’t find it. Someone give me the tea!" Ostrom said.

Ostrom is a popular golf influencer with a massive following across social media platforms, including around 937,000 followers on Instagram. She is known for sharing golf-related videos on her social media accounts.

2024 Creator Classic: results and leaderboard overview

The first edition of the Creator Classic concluded on August 28. The tournament featured a stellar field, including social media sensation Paige Spiranac, the Bryan Brothers, Fat Perez, and many other influencers.

Although Wesley and George Bryan had strong performances, it was not their day. The tournament used an eight-hole gross stroke play format. After eight holes, Wesley Bryan topped the leaderboard at 2 under par. However, on the final ninth hole, the top four players from the leaderboard including Wesley, Roger Steele, Sean Walsh, and Luke Kwon competed in a playoff.

Kwon ultimately won the tournament with a birdie on the first hole of the playoff. George, who shot 1-over par after eight holes, did not advance to the final hole and finished in eighth place. Spiranac shot 2-over par to secure ninth place after eight holes. Tyler Toney finished in the final position on the leaderboard with a score of 10 over par.
