"Golf wins today!" - Fans react as Netflix releases Full Swing's sneak peak

Netflix's golf docuseries Full Swing is scheduled to release on Wednesday, February 15. However, the streaming platform cleverly released the first episode by stuffing a QR code at the end of the Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial.

Netflix later released the commercial on their social media page with a caption saying:

"Full Swing is coming and you all better be ready for golf to become your whole personality. Here's the first episode of Full Swing (US Only) early to get you prepped."

Fans jumped into the comment section to write:

"Commercials today have become amazing."

"Gotta love the caddie shack reference."

"I will be checking this out"

NUCLR also shared the video on their account. Fans went on to write:

"Golf wins today!...what Superbowl?"

"Oh wow what an episode! Could not have loved it more!"

Netflix will officially release the show on February 15 for a global audience.

"It's kind of crazy" - Justin Thomas talks about the Full Swing

Netflix dropped the second trailer for the series last week. Justin Thomas reshared the video on his social media pages.

The clip highlights the golfer's career and also the future of the game. Thomas was heard saying:

"You don't know what's gonna happen. I might win fifty more times in my career or I might win zero. Like, that's just the reality."

Thomas also spoke about the series in his interview and said:

"I saw my episode and know there's a lot of things that I shot or did and you never know if they're going to be in other things, when are you going to pop up here or there. Everyone's going to have it the same way, like 'Oh wow, I forgot I did that, I can't believe that's in there', or 'We spent so much time on this, I can't believe that's not in there'.

He went on to say:

"It's kind of crazy to say but as a golf fan I'm excited to watch it. I know what (footage) I shot, but I don't know what Tony Finau shot, or what Rory (McIlroy) shot. It's going to be interesting and cool."

Full Swing features top-rated golfers around the globe. The series also highlights the controversy between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour. The golfers were signed before the inception of the controversial series, so they are also part of the golf series.

Justin Thomas is also a part of the series and is excited about its release. Speaking about the series, he said:

""It is mindblowing when it started at the beginning of the year and the amount of storylines just through players and what they're trying to accomplish. I don't think anybody could have been sitting here at this time last year and said what was going to happen.

He added:

"I'm excited to watch and it couldn't have really drawn up a better year or situation as to what happened throughout the course of the year."
