Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai Trump congratulated her grandpa in a heartfelt message as he inches closer to winning the 2024 US Presidential elections. Kai is an avid golfer like her grandfather and regularly posts golf updates on YouTube and Instagram.

The 17-year-old is Donald Trump's eldest grandchild and daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump. She posted a picture with her grandfather and wrote:

"No one works harder or cares more about the American people. Congratulations Grandpa, I love you!"

In July, Kai also spoke at a Republic National Convention and campaigned for Donald Trump. At the convention, she said (via ABC News):

"I'm speaking today to share the side of my grandpa that people don't see often. To me, he's just a normal grandpa; he gives us candy and soda when our parents aren't looking, he always wants to know how we're doing in school. When I made the high honour roll, he presented it out to his friends how proud he was of me."

Kai Trump further said that his grandpa has been through difficult times, but has been resilient nonetheless. She also attacked the media and said that it portrays him differently and it's she who knows how Trump truly is. She further talked about how the former President inquired about her golf game.

"He calls me during the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going and tells me all about his. But then I have to remind him that I'm in school and I will have to call him back later."

In the end, Kai shared that her grandfather wanted the best for the country and would fight every single day to make America great again.

Kai Trump shares why chose golf over other sports

In a recent video posted on her YouTube channel on Monday, November 4, Kai Trump shared why she chose golf. In the clip, she was seen practicing golf at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster.

Between the rounds, she enjoyed the pumpkin spice chai from Starbucks. She said that she was practicing with Bryson DeChambeau's US Open-winning putter and then shared how she chose golf over tennis.

Kai mentioned that playing at the Bedminster course brought back memories of her childhood when she first learned to play golf in New York City. She shared that at the age of two, her mom gave her both a golf club and a tennis racket as she played both sports initially, but ultimately decided to focus on golf.

"I mean the real reason why I also got into golf is because my mom ain't going to Westchester and she would just throw a throw a ball at me and like I just have to like putt it or chip it or whatever and that's how I really got into golf. It's so nice to be back here and like play a similar course that I grew up playing on." (4:15)

Kai Trump also appreciated the club's unique scenery and explained why it was her favorite course. She said:

"The new course at Trump Bedminster is so awesome and I like it just because I love the grass here and that's like one of the reasons why I love playing golf in Upson, New York."
"The fairways and the greens all look the same and it's just it's so well manicured like the whole course is and I love like the different colors and I love seeing the different trees," she added. (0:47)

At the end of the video, Kai Trump scored a par on the final hole and shared her day's experience. She also hoped to show viewers a full round of golf in the future.
