"Happy Days" - Padraig Harrington's special tweet after winning on the PGA Champions Tour

Padraig Harrington has emerged as the PGA Champions Tour's Simmons Bank Championship winner. The 53-year-old won his third tournament this year by two strokes over Y.E. Yang at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Harrington carded 67, 65 and 67 in the three rounds at the Simmons Bank Championship. He won $365,000 from a total prize purse of $2.3 million. After his win, Harrington took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote:

"Well that was fun. It was nice to get it done. I was a little ropey in the middle but finished strong. Happy Days. @SBGolfChamp @ChampionsTour"

He also added a few video clips from the tournament to the post.

In the final round, Harrington scored four birdies on the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th holes on the front nine. On the back nine, he carded two more birdies on the 10th and 18th holes against a bogey par-4 14th.

He has an exemplary record at the PGA Tour Champions. This is Harrington's ninth Champions Tour victory in his 48th start. In 48 starts, he has made 48 cuts with 25 top-5 finishes.

In another post on X, Padraig Harrington praised the ground staff for their work. He wrote:
