Tiger Woods never won the Hero World Challenge, which is hosted by the legendary golfer himself. This year, Woods won't be able to fight for the Hero World Challenge title since he has officially declared his absence from the tournament.
The Hero World Challenge will take place in the Bahamas from December 5 to 8 and Woods' name was not enlisted in the tournament's field chart. He also wrote about his absence on X and said:
“I am disappointed that I will not be able to compete this year at the Hero World Challenge, but always look forward to being tournament host.”

In 2022 and 2021, Woods skipped the Hero World Challenge. In 2020, the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19, and in 2019, Woods landed at T17 in the event. His total score was 1-under in the 2019 Hero World Challenge and the golfer shot 73 in the opening round with four birdies. He shot 69 and 72 in the second and third rounds, with 5 birdies in each. In the last round, he shot 73 with four birdies.
