The LIV Golf's Legion XIII teammates Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton are competing in the 2024 LIV Golf UK. The JCB Golf and Country Club is the venue for this event this week, with Andy Ogletree leading the event after round two with a score of -12.

Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton teed off together in the first round and interacted with the media after their round. While answering a question about the interaction between the two golfers today, Rahm shared how their friendship affected their interaction on the course, leading to a "weird" scenario on the course:

"It's a weird scenario because as good friends as we are, you want each other to do good but you also want to beat each other, right. So I could tell when one of us was making a birdie, there was like we'd first look at each other seriously, like, don't get too far away or don't make many of those," the Spanish golfer said [8:40].

Continuing the answer, Rahm shared a funny scenario that occurred on the sixth hole at the JCB Golf and Country Club:

"So my funniest one was his reaction to my Chip Shot on six. Being low left I hit a good shot and he just froze and looked at me like this [makes gesture] and I didn't know what to do with that reaction. So I was just a little confused down there on the left," Rahm said.

Tyrrell Hatton responded to Rahm's comments and said he enjoyed it, but also scared the latter a bit with his reaction, and that shot was exciting to watch, "sad as it is."

Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton are in contention to win the LIV Golf UK.

Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton have played exceptional golf this week in the LIV Golf UK. Tyrrell Hatton is placed second going into the final round and is two strokes behind the lead at -10. The Legion XIII skipper Rahm is placed T4 with a score of -9.

Both European golfers have looked in good form this week. Rahm was leading the event after day one, but lost a bit of momentum and carded just -1 on day two, while the leader, Andy Ogletree, carded -6 on day two to take the lead.

The Australian golfer Cameron Smith is also in contention and is tied for second place at -10, while Paul Casey is tied with Jon Rahm in fourth place at -9.

Meanwhile, Hatton has already won a LIV Golf event, registering a victory at the LIV Golf Nashville event last month, while Rahm is yet to win a LIV Golf event and will be trying his best to claim the trophy this week.
