Collin Morikawa is in his wife Katherine's hometown of Vancouver during the off-season. Recently, Katherine shared a video of them running, but the golfer was taking a shortcut to accompany his wife.
Morikawa was last seen at the Tour Championship, where he played incredibly well to finish second in the FedEx Cup. He carded 26-under to finish runner-up, four strokes behind Scottie Scheffler at East Lake.
On Monday, September 9, Katherine shared a clip of her and Collin Morikawa on Instagram.
"Smiles for miles with my ride or die 😁 New York Marathon here we come! 🍎 Donate today to help support the kids at St Jude! We’ll be matching every dollar donated," she wrote.
While most fans online praised the couple, few hilariously pointed out that Morikawa was using a shortcut instead of running with his wife. Here's a look at some reactions:
"He’s cheating 🚲," one fan wrote.
"Collin Morikawa working smarter not harder," another fan wrote.
"@collin_morikawaslacking on the Seawall 😂👉🏻🚴🏻🌊," this user commented.
"Your husband is my fave golfer," this fan remarked.
"Cutest couple alive also has a great ❤️," one user posted.
"Good luck!! Both my nieces are running the NY marathon as well! Hope you all have a PR kind of race! ❤️," another fan commented.
