The 2025 Genesis Invitational will take place at Torrey Pines. The tournament was initially scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, however, due to the horrific wildfire that broke out in the city, the tournament has been moved to Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Deigo. The event will be held from February 10 to 16.
The 2025 Genesis Invitational Open tickets will go live starting January 26; however, only a limited number of tickets are available for purchase online. Fans can buy tickets for the Genesis Invitational 2025 at Torrey Pines from different ticket-selling websites.
Meanwhile, fans who purchased tickets for The Genesis Invitational at Riviera, the original venue for the event, will receive a full refund within 14-21 business days.
On Friday, the tournament host, Tiger Woods, released a statement about the shift in the venue for the tournament. He said (via The Genesis Invitational):

Tiger Woods played at the Genesis Invitational in 2024. However, he could only play in one round and was forced to withdraw from the competition.
PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan releases statement about change in venue for Genesis Invitational 2025
The Riviera Country Club has hosted The Genesis Invitational 60 times since its inception in 1926. However, in 2025, the venue has been changed and is now relocated to a new place.
PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan released a statement about the change in the venue, saying (via PGA Tour):
"As we’ve seen the last two weeks, sports can be a great diversion but an even greater unifier in bringing people together for a common cause. Highlighting the resilience of Los Angeles and the need for continued support for the ongoing recovery efforts is what our collective teams are working towards with the playing of The Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines."
The Genesis Invitational is one of the oldest golf events on the PGA Tour. Last year, Hideki Matsuyama won the tournament ahead of Will Zalatoris and Luke List, and is expected to return to defend his title in 2025.
While the Genesis Invitational is moving to Torrey Pines, this week the PGA Tour is already having experience playing at the venue. The 2025 Farmers Insurance Open is underway at the Torrey Pines Golf Course and will have its finale on Saturday, January 25.
