LIV Golf players are taking center stage at the 2024 PIF Saudi International. Three of the four leaders after the second round are playing in the breakaway league, as are four other members of the top 10.

Joaquin Niemann, Cameron Smith, and Peter Uihlein are tied with Logan McAllister for the lead at the PIF Saudi International on 11 under. 31 LIV golfers made the cut on Thursday, December 5, including two reserve players and several players who were relegated at the end of the 2024 season.

Tyrrell Hatton had the best score in the second round of the PIF Saudi International (8 under), tied with two other players. The Englishman carded eight birdies and no bogeys and is one shot off the lead after 36 holes.


Which LIV Golfers Missed the Cut at the 2024 PIF Saudi International?

The cut line for the PIF Saudi International was set at 3 under. 14 LIV golfers missed the cut, including several top players on the Greg Norman-led circuit.

Among those who missed the cut was two-time major champion Dustin Johnson, captain of the 4Aces GC team and a multiple LIV Golf winner. Sergio Garcia, who finished the season tied for third in the individual standings with one victory and three runner-up finishes, also missed the cut.

Other notable players who missed the cut were Bubba Watson and David Puig. Watson, a two-time Masters champion, did not have a good season in 2024 and was dropped by LIV Golf, while Puig finished tied for 26th in the individual standings.

Anthony Kim was unable to repeat his success of the previous week when he made the cut at the International Series Qatar. In Riyadh, Kim carded rounds of 72 and 70 (even par) to miss the cut by three strokes.
