LIV Golf has made headlines since its inception in 2022. Several players joined the circuit; however, after struggling with their game, they exited the series. In the last three seasons, players including Chase Koepka and Pablo Larrazábal competed in LIV Golf and earned a good amount, but were axed from the series.

The Saudi circuit has a season standings list, and only the players finishing in the top 24 are in the "lock zone," meaning they automatically secure their spot for the next season. Meanwhile, the low-ranked golfers in the standings are either re-signed by the teams or exit the series.

Brooks Koepka's brother Chase also played in LIV Golf but was axed from the series. The American golfer joined the circuit in 2022 and competed in seven events in its first edition. He had some decent performances in the inaugural edition and finished 27th in the season standings.

However, Chase Koepka struggled in the second season in 2023, finishing 48th in the standings, and did not return for the third season. Over his two seasons on the circuit, Koepka earned £5.1 million, as per Express.co.uk.

Some of his notable performances on the circuit include a 26th-place finish in the Tulsa event in 2023 and a 28th at the London event last year. His best result on the circuit was a ninth-place finish recorded at the Chicago event in 2022 during the first season of the series.

Below is a list of the axed LIV golfers and the amount they have earned from the circuit (via Express.co.uk):

  • - Oliver Bekker: £611,000
  • - Ratchanon Chantananuwat: £104,650

Notably, the 2024 edition of LIV Golf was completed a few weeks ago, and several other golfers are on the borderline of missing the next edition.
