The DP World Tour’s 2023 Ras Al Khaimah Championship came to an end on Sunday. Daniel Gavins won the title in the second edition of the tournament, held at the Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This was the golfer’s second career European tour win.

Gavins beat South Africa’s Zander Lombard and Swedish golfer Alexander Björk by one shot to take the win. The Englishman pulled through to win the Ras Al Khaimah Championship despite hitting two balls in the water on the final hole. The golfer made a 25-foot putt for double-bogey seven to bag the winner’s share from the $2,000,000 purse.

Daniel Gavins won $340,000 for winning the 2023 Ras Al Khaimah Championship. The golfer bagged the winner’s share. The Englishman also earned 17.5 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win. Meanwhile, Zander Lombard, who finished T2 with Alexander Björk settled for $171,252 each.

It is pertinent to note that the DP World Tour event had a 36-hole cut. With 82 of the 132 starting players finishing the event, golfers up to T69 earned prizes at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.
