Much like other designated events, the WM Phoenix Open has a rich prize purse on offer. Owing to the American circuit’s big prize changes, the ongoing event has a purse size of $20 million. The winner of the event will bag $3,600,000, double last year’s $1,460,000.
The golfer finishing runner-up on the field will win $2,180,000, while the third-place finisher will settle for $1,380,000. Golfers finishing fourth and fifth on the field will return home with $980,000 and $820,000 paychecks, respectively. Interestingly, the cash prize goes up to the 65th position, who will get $43,000 for his efforts.
Apart from the prize money payouts, the winner of the WM Phoenix Open will also get valuable Official World Golf Ranking points and 500 FedEx Cup points.
