After the Honda LPGA Thailand, the LPGA is currently at the Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore for the 2023 HSBC Women's World Championship. Headlined by the likes of Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, and Brooke Henderson, among other big names, the tournament will have 72 golfers competing for the $1.8 million prize purse.
The HSBC Women's World Championship is the third event of the 2023 LPGA Tour season. Being played in its originally intended slot on the LPGA Tour schedule, the tournament will conclude on Sunday, March 5.
According to the American circuit’s prize money distribution chart’s 15 percent payout, the winner of the Singapore event will win a paycheck of $270,000.
While the winner takes the biggest chunk of the prize purse, the runner-up will settle for a paycheck of $166,643. Third and fourth-placed golfers will take home $120,888 and $93,516, respectively. Meanwhile, the golfer coming last on the field will bag $3,558 for her efforts.

Apart from the prize money, the 2023 HSBC Women's World Championship winner will also bag 500 points towards the season-long race to the CME Globe. The champion will also be eligible for other big benefits, including a two-year exemption on the LPGA Tour and berths into other big tournaments on the circuit.
It is pertinent to note that the LPGA event’s dates clash with the PGA Tour’s 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational. Unlike its ladies' event counterpart, the men’s event will see golfers compete for a whopping $20 million prize purse. The winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational will bag $3.6 million.
