The format of the inaugural tournament for creators was eight holes of gross stroke play on the back nine of East Lake followed by the top four players advancing to a sudden-death playoff on the par-5 18th hole. Since she didn't finish in the top four, Spiranac couldn't advance to the playoffs.

She had the lowest odds of winning the tournament and had also expressed agony over the same via her X handle. Talking about the opportunity to play in the tournament, she said (via Golf Digest):

"There's really no place for our followers to watch us in person, so to have this opportunity for us to be together in a competitive setting where they can see all of us at the same time is unlike anything we ever expected."
"I think it’s special for us (creators) and special for them (fans). It’s just been a crazy, amazing experience," Spiranac added.

Luke Kwon won the 2024 Creator Classic by defeating Wesley Bryan, Roger Steele, and Sean Walsh in the playoffs. Spiranac congratulated Kwon in a post on X and wrote:

"Congratulations to @lkwongolf on getting the win and playing some amazing golf today!"
