It will be an exciting week for golf fans as the DP World Tour Championship will kickstart in a few days. The season-ending event will take place from November 14th to 17th at the Jumeirah Golf Estate in Dubai.

The finale will also culminate the season-long Race to Dubai standings. Currently, Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy is atop the leaderboard after the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He has had a difficult year after three marginal losses. It will be interesting to see if the defending Race to Dubai champion manages to retain the title.

Last year, McIlroy was practically guaranteed the title before the DP World Tour Championship. However, this time, his next-in-line Thriston Lawrence can still mathematically chase him down. The 2023 DP World Tour champion Nicolai Hojgaard won't be seen in action this year.
