After an exciting week in the men's golf event, the women's golf is all set to take center stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics from Wednesday, August 7. The men's golf event venue, Le Golf National's Albatros Golf Course, will remain the host of the women's event.
The best golfers worldwide will compete for a gold medal and national pride at the Summer Games. The format of play will be similar to the men's golf event, with a 72-hole stroke play event over four days.

There are 60 golfers in the field from various countries with qualifications based on the world rankings in women's golf. Team USA and South Korea have the maximum number of golfers in the field (3), while the rest of the teams have two golfers in the field.
The former medalists Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko are in the field this week for the 2024 Paris Olympics and are favorites to replicate the same performance. They are the only two former medalists in the field as others failed to qualify for this year's Games.
The other prominent names in the field this week are Charley Hull, Minjee Lee, and Jin Young Ko, who will present a stern challenge for the former medalists.
