Sahith Theegala's girlfriend, Juju Chan, recently shared how Theegala reacted after seeing Tiger Woods. Theegala is teeing up this week in the Bahamas at the Hero World Challenge, an unofficial PGA Tour event hosted by the legendary golfer Tiger Woods. The tournament is scheduled to start with its first round on Thursday, December 5, and will run for four days, concluding with its finale on Sunday, December 8.
Ahead of the tournament, the players met the host on December 4. Intriguingly, Sahith Theegala celebrated his 27th birthday on the same day. And while he was in the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge, Woods wished Theegala on his special day.
The following day, Sahith Theegala's girlfriend, Juju, shared a hilarious incident from the golfer's meeting with Woods through her Instagram story. She posted a screenshot of Theegala's text to her after seeing the five-time Masters winner.

"Tiger just came and dapped me up and said happy bday big dog..I almost fainted," Theegala texted his girlfriend.
Chan shared a picture of Tiger Woods and Sahith Theegala from the Hero World Challenge along with a screenshot of the text she received from her boyfriend.

Juju Chan also posted several pictures with her boyfriend, wishing him on his special day. She shared a snap of herself taking a mirror selfie with Theegala hugging her from behind.
"Happy birthday to my favorite person in the world," she wrote in the caption.
Along with that, she posted another picture with Theegala, writing:
"I love you the most."
Juju Chan is very active on social media and has posted several pictures and videos with her boyfriend on her Instagram account, where she has 10.8K followers.
Sahith Theegala to play in Tiger Woods' TGL series
Theegala is already playing this week at the Tiger Woods-hosted Hero World Challenge, and starting next month, he will participate in the brand-new series created by the 15-time Major champion.
Woods, along with Rory McIlroy and Mike McCarley, has developed an exclusive new series called TGL, which will begin its first season on January 7, 2025. The series features only 24 golfers, and Sahith Theegala will be one of them.
The American golfer will play for Los Angeles Golf Club alongside fellow PGA Tour players, including Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, and Tommy Fleetwood. Notably, Tiger Woods will also be participating in the series. He will play for the Jupiter Links Golf Club alongside Max Homa, Hideki Matsuyama, and Kevin Kisner.
Initially, Woods was expected to play at the Hero World Challenge this week as well, but last month he announced that he would only be there as the host of the tournament.
Sharing about his duties for the 2024 Hero World Challenge, Woods shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:
"I am disappointed that I will not be able to compete this year at the Hero World Challenge, but always look forward to being tournament host and spending the week."
The 2024 Hero World Challenge features some big names playing this week, including Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, and Ludvig Aberg.
