Paige Spiranac, a trailblazer in the world of sports influencers, will mark her 10th year in content creation in July 2025. In an emotional video on her YouTube platform titled Spilling 2025 Tea Goals & Gossip, she reflected on her transformation throughout the years that brought her to where she is today.

In the video, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model credited her followers and fans for not only helping her build a successful career but in also aiding her personal journey. Spiranac said with near tears in her eyes (via YouTube 8:25 - 9:34):

"I wouldn't be able to do what I do. You [fans] have changed me in so many ways. I am a completely different person than I was when I started this and a lot of it has to do with the amount of encouragement and support and love that you all give me daily. And it's not lost on me that I would have no job if I didn't have your supports and although there is sometimes negativity and bad feedback, you're always there to defend me and to support me."

The social media star went to explain that while most influencers gain fame and lose their connection with their fans, Spiranac always keeps her online community close to her heart.

Gushing over her fans, she said (via YouTube 10:30 - 11:29):

"I am eternally grateful for everything that you have done to transform my life; transform me as a person and the bond and the friendships that we have made along the way. It's like family. And I always say that my community is my family and my friends...You are the most supportive friend that I've ever had...I feel like that had to be said because as we're coming on this 10 year anniversary, everyone always said that my 15 minutes would be up."

Paige Spiranac speaks on "life-changing" photoshoot with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit

A few years after Spiranac began her social media career, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit invited her out to Aruba for her very first photoshoot with the magazine. According to the former professional golfer, that photoshoot in 2018 was "life-changing" and paved the way for her career in modelling.

In an exclusive interview with the magazine in September 2024, she said (via Sports Illustrated Swimsuit):

"I was going through a really hard time where I was still kind of new in social media and [was] transitioning from playing golf professionally to doing media full-time. [I] was dealing with a ton of other personal issues, and I just felt very stuck. Doing that [photo] shoot was incredibly empowering...It was just such a life-changing moment for me... and I carry everything that I've done in that shoot to everything that I'm doing now.”

Spiranac has now been with the magazine for over seven years and has featured in multiple issues and covers. She uses her power with the company to empower women and speak out against body shaming.
