Bryson DeChambeau recently showered praise on Tiger Woods stating that he learnt a lot from the golfing legend. He spoke about the lessons he learned from the 15-time major champion.
Bryson DeChambeau is a two-time US Open champion and is one of the most popular golfers currently. During his career, he has often played alongside Tiger Woods and has always observed him as a student of the game.
Recently, in the final episode of his hit YouTube series Break 50, the $44 million LIV golfer invited NFL legend Tom Brady. During the conversation with Brady, he reflected on his learning from Woods and also compared that with one from Phil Mickelson.
"Phil is the most knowledgeable man when it comes to wedging and hitting around the greens," he said. "He is incredibly intelligent, but I have to say Tiger is the one that taught me a lot. He has taught me so much about putting, shot shaping, and controlling distance."
DeChambeau added that Woods didn't always give the tips and he learned a lot by just observing the veteran golfer's perspective.
"You learn through the way he looks at things," he added. "You watch his eyes and what he is trying to gather."
"A lot of it is in his hands, so I took a lot of what he said 'Dude, it is all in your hands, you have to feel the golf club'. Being a technician, and somebody who loves to be perfectly on plane, I learn to be an athlete from him too."
