"Oh my god, I'm just so glad to be done. That was just so stressful. I can't even tell you. I thought I was going to throw up this morning. I can't even imagine how it was out there. I was walking around the team room this morning. I couldn't eat. I felt like I was going to throw up."
Bradley's father Mark praised him, saying,
"I mean, for you to come back and to win it, you know, for the USA. And now you're captain of the Ryder Cup... Dude, your life can't be better."
Keegan Bradley took the lead on the second hole on Sunday with a birdie and went 1 up. Kim then rebounded with two straight birdies on the 5th and 6th hole to go 1 up.
Bradley tied again on the 8th hole but Kim scored another birdie on the 9th to go 1 up. Bradley scored three consecutive birdies, on the 10th, 11th, and 12th holes, to go 2 up. Another birdie on the 13th hole extended his lead to 3 up. Kim scored two more birdies on the 16th and 17th but to no avail.
Bradley was picked by US Captain Jim Furyk for the Presidents Cup earlier this month. He played in the tournament for the second time after a decade. He played for the first time in 2013. Bradley will captain the US Team for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
