Cameron Smith is looking to go back home after the conclusion of the 2024 LIV Golf season in September. There are only two LIV Golf events that remain to be completed, one in Chicago and the other in Dallas.

The individual championship decider will be held first, and the team championship decider will mark the end of the LIV Golf season. Golfers will have a few months off before the beginning of the next season, but Smith will not take a break.

Speaking about his plans for the break, Smith said that he had committed to playing the NSW Open, which will be held from November 14 to 17 at the Murray Downs Golf & Country Club. Cameron Smith spoke about his love for playing in his home country and said via FlushingIt Golf, a Golf X Account:

“I love supporting Australian golf and when the opportunity arises to play, I want to be there. I try to get back home as much as I can. The NSW Open is growing into a major event and I’m excited to be able to play in the tournament this year, which will be part of a great summer of Australian golf.”

Smith currently sits in 6th place in the individual standings. Jon Rahm is leading the standings, while Joaquin Niemann is currently in second place, just three points behind.
