LIV Golf wrapped up its 2024 season in the third week of September, after which Ian Poulter was seen practising golf with a former soccer professional, Jimmy Bullard and Majesticks GC teammate Lee Westwood.

Poulter and Bullard played a casual round and engaged in fun banter, a clip of which was posted on Majesticks GC's X handle. In the clip, Bullard, dressed in a long-sleeved t-shirt, black trousers, and black-and-white Nike golf shoes, was seen in a putt position.

As he struck the ball, Poulter reacted with "Ooh, good stroke." As the ball moved toward the hole, the soccer player exclaimed, "Break, break," hoping for the ball to chip in. The ball moved past the hole upon which Westwood commented, 'Aggressive.' Responding to him, Bullard said:

"Everything's aggressive, isn't it?"

The 45-year-old soccer player then talked about the grass and explained that the ball was rolling faster.

"It's just these are so slippery to what I'm used to. That extra bit of zip on it. Do you know what I mean?"

Bullard then tried again but missed by just a few inches. Poulter then said:

"Hang On! Taxi!"

"Taxi" is golfing slang used when somebody sends a putt past the cup, suggesting that they're playing so badly that they should leave. Bullard then blamed missing the putt on music. He said:

"The music's too loud."

Majesticks GC posted the clip and captioned it:

"When it goes a bit quiet…@jimmybullard blaming it on the music @WestwoodLee| @IanJamesPoulter"

Ian Poulter reposted the video and wrote in a post on X:

"Too good (laughing emojis)"

Bullard is a former English professional soccer player who played for teams like West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, Fulham, and Hull City. He was a midfield player who retired in 2012 due to knee issues. Since then, he has co-hosted shows like Soccer AM. He also managed the football team Leatherhead.
