After playing at LIV Golf Greenbrier, Dustin Johnson is enjoying his time off the golf course. He will next play at LIV Golf Chicago which is scheduled from Friday, September 13 to 15, 2024.
Johnson recently showed off his fishing skills in an Instagram post. The LIV Golf player shared a series of pictures along with a video. He captioned the post:
"Another successful fishing trip"

Johnson has tagged the location in The Bahamas. In the first picture, Johnson is smiling and holding a large hogfish in his left hand on a boat, wearing swim shorts.
In another picture, Johnson is with his friends on a boat. He and two other men are standing on the deck of a fishing boat, each of them holding up a large fish.
This is not the first time that Johnson has posted his fishing pictures. Johnson is an avid fisherman and owns two fishing boats: Viking 76 Sportfish, and a Bahama 41.
In a press conference previously, Johnson was asked to choose between his fishing pole and his wife Paulina if he was stranded on an island for the rest of his life and had only one choice.
Johnson's answered (via Sports Illustrated):
"I can’t answer that question."
A look at Dustin Johnson's performance in the 2024 season
Dustin Johnson has had a great 2024 season. In 12 starts in LIV Golf, he has had one win, three top-10 finishes, and eight top-25 finishes. He won the LIV Golf Las Vegas event by one stroke over Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein.
Johnson's other notable finishes include a T5 at LIV Golf Mayakoba and a T7 at LIV Golf Singapore. Johnson is currently positioned 14th in the LIV Golf individual standings with two tournaments to go. He won the 2022 season and finished 5th in 2023. Johnson's team 4Aces GC which won the last two seasons is also positioned 10th this year.
Further, Johnson's performance in Majors has been below par. He missed the cut in the Masters and US Open. He finished T43 at the PGA Championship and T31 at the Open Championship.
