In pics: Presidents Cup golfers and wives walk the red carpet in Montreal

The 2024 Presidents Cup will begin in the next few hours at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Quebec. The 15th edition of the biennial event will be held from Thursday, September 26 to September 29.

Ahead of the event, Presidents Cup golfers with their wives and girlfriends walked the red carpet in Montreal on Tuesday night. 24 players will be competing in the tournament with 12 each from the US and the International Team.

PGA Tour shared a picture of the US Team, the International Team, their wives and girlfriends posing with the Presidents Cup trophy on X. It captioned the post:

"A night out on the town (crescent moon emoji)"

The official handle of the Presidents Cup shared a video of the moment and wrote:

"Stepping out in style. Arriver avec style."

The Presidents Cup has been played 14 times since its inaugural event in 1994. The USA has won the tournament 12 times. The International Team has won only once (in 1998). The US Team won the last Presidents Cup in 2022 by 17.5-12.5 at Quail Hollow Club.
