Golf influencer Hannah Leiner gave fans an exciting glimpse of the highly anticipated Tomorrow Golf League (TGL), co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The tech-infused golf series officially kicked off its inaugural season on January 7, 2025. Leiner, who attended the season-opening event, shared moments from the new series on her Instagram account, where she boasts around 295K followers.
On Thursday, January 8, she posted pictures of herself glammed up in a red dress and posed in front of the big screen of the TGL. She also shared a video of herself practicing shots on the simulator as well as included some pictures with other attendees of the match. Captioning the post, Leiner wrote:

The TGL has a unique format where matches are played on a big screen inside the SoFi Center. Players take shots on simulators, and matches are limited to 15 holes. The tournaments are held in singles and triplets formats, making it an engaging approach to golf.
Tiger Woods says "It's hard to believe" the TGL has finally started
Legendary golfer Tiger Woods attended the first match of the TGL, accompanied by Rory McIlroy. The series had been in the headlines for a while, especially after its launch was postponed last year due to the collapse of the venue dome. Despite the delay, the TGL finally made its debut.
Tiger Woods joined the ESPN broadcast this week for the series and expressed his excitement, saying it was "hard to believe" that it had officially started.
"Considering this was just a dream conjured up - Rory and I were talking about it - it's hard to believe that that dream came into reality and we're able to take golf into another stratosphere really," Tiger Woods said.
"Just to have the ability to showcase our sport - and it's not traditional golf, yes - but it is golf, and that's the main thing. It provided a different type of atmosphere. I hear a couple people rooting against Wyndham on that putt back there. You don't normally hear that at events. There are certain events you do hear that all the time, but most events you don't hear that. You're gonna hear that here, which is great," he added.
In the inaugural match of the TGL, the New York Club faced off against the Bay Golf Commons. Bay Golf Commons opened their season with an impressive 9-2 victory. They won three holes in the singles format and six holes in the triplets format. The next match will take place on January 14 when Los Angeles Golf Club will play against The Jupiter Links.
