Max Homa this week enjoyed a trip away from the greens with his family. This week, the PGA Tour does not have any event on its calendar, giving players plenty of time to celebrate the holidays with their families prior to the start of the 2025 season.
Max Homa took to Instagram to share pictures from his "rare outing." He posted several pictures with his wife, Lacey Homa, and their son, Cam Andrew Homa.
One picture showed him watching his son playing in the snow, with a smile on his face. Another picture featured his wife, Lacey, holding Cam while posing in the drifts of snow. The PGA Tour golfer also shared pictures of his dog, Scotty. Homa wrote in the caption:
"An extremely rare trip with no golf clubs deserves a photo dump #notgolf"
Max Homa has been happily married to Lacey for five years. The couple tied the knot in November 2019 after dating for six years. They met online in 2013 and started dating the same year in July. The couple welcomed their first child on October 30, 2022.
When Max Homa opened up about his fatherly duty
Last month, Max Homa shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account talking about his fatherly duties. He shared that his son asks him to sing before he goes to bed. However, Homa hilariously took a jibe at his singing talent, saying he wished he was "tone deaf." Homa wrote:
"My son has been asking me to sing to him every night before bed lately. I really wish I was tone deaf cuz I can hear every note that comes out of my mouth. It is awful."
Max Homa had a pretty tight schedule in 2024. This year, he played in 22 PGA Tour events and made the cut in 18. He came very close to winning his maiden Major at the Masters, but with two final rounds of 73, he settled for a tie for third place. On the PGA Tour, his last outing was at the Zozo Championship, where he shot four rounds of 73, 66, 67, and 66, tying for T27.
Homa has been on a break for a while and will return to the greens next week with the season-opening The Sentry Tournament. The tournament will take place at the Plantation Course at Kapalua from January 2 to 5.
Notably, it's one of the eight signature events featuring a limited field of only 60 players. The PGA Tour event features a stellar field of some of the top-ranked golfers in the world, including Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, and many others.
