In pictures: Tiger Woods back on course to watch son Charlie at the Florida state championships

Tiger Woods was seen on course to watch his son Charlie compete at the Class 1A Florida high school state championship. The tournament was held from Tuesday, November 12 to Wednesday, November 13 at Howey-in-the-Hills.

In one of the pictures, Woods was seen dressed in a light blue polo shirt, dark shorts, and a white cap and leaned casually against a red golf cart. In another picture, the former World No. 1 was seen near the eighth hole, with his hands on his hips.

In one of the pictures, Charlie Woods was seen crouching down on the green beside the flagstick, seemingly lining up a putt.

Tiger Woods' next appearance in a golf tournament will be at the 2024 Hero World Challenge. The 48-year-old is also scheduled to compete at the 2024 PNC Championship next month with his son Charlie. He had earlier said about his schedule (via ASAP Sports):

"I'm not going to play until the 2024 Hero World Challenge. I'm going to just keep getting physically better and keep working on it. Hopefully just come back for our -- what is it, our 'fifth major', the Father/Son challenge, so looking forward to it."

The 2024 PNC Championship will be held from December 19 to 22, 2024 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.


How did Tiger Woods's son Charlie compete at the Class 1A Florida high school state championship?

Tiger Woods' son Charlie Woods had an average start at the Florida High School State Championcship, scoring 6-over 78 in the first round. He scored a birdie against three bogeys and two double bogeys.

The teenager's team Benjamin Academy Buccaneers are currently tied for ninth after the first round while he was positioned 55th.

In the second round, Charlie improved on his performance and scored 1-over 73. He scored five birdies against six bogeys in the round. Talking about his performance in the second round, Benjamin boys golf head coach Toby Harbeck said (via The Palm Beach Post):

"Much better. He gets on a roll, he can make three, four, five in a row. This golf course dictates where you've got to hit it. You've got to king of take your medicine.There are some holes out here that you cannot birdie. As aggressive as he is, it paid off. He played well today, very well today."

Charlie Woods tied for 29th at the tournament while his team Benjamin Academy Buccaneers finished second with nine shots below Oxbridge Academy.
