What's next for Phil Mickelson?
Biggies like Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson, and Dustin Johnson will be back on the golf course this week as LIV Golf's next event is about to begin on Friday, March 17. Fans are excited to see some of their favorite players getting back in action as they were last seen in the LIV Golf Mayakoba that took place from February 24 to February 26.
The event will take place at the The South Course at The Gallery Golf Club. The John Fought-designed Course has previously hosted the PGA Tour's Match Play Championship a couple of times.
Over the three days, there will be 54 holes of stroke play in the specified format. The tournament will feature a field of 48 players divided into 12 teams. The event has a total purse size of $25 million, which comprises $20 million for individual portions and $5 million for the team portion.
The winner of the individual part will be awarded $4 million, and the victorious team will receive $3 million.
The first two rounds will begin at 12:15 pm EST and Round 3 will start at 12:03 pm EST.
The telecast of the Saudi-backed event will be done by CW Network in the United States. Fans outside the US can enjoy the tournament on the LIVGolf Plus app. The LIVGolf Plus app is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.
