Annika Sorenstam's Son Will McGee is the youngest player at this week's PNC Championship. The father-son duo challenge, now popularly called the PNC Championship, features professional golfers playing alongside their family members.
Annika Sorenstam has been a part of the tournament in the past, and this year she will again be joined by her 13-year-old son, who is the youngest player in the field. The oldest player in the field is Gary Player, competing at the age of 89. 15-year-old Charlie Woods will also be playing in tournaments.
Last year, Sorenstam and her son also competed in the event. Speaking of sharing the field with her son, Sorenstam said in 2023, via Golf Digest:
"It’s so much fun. We have a good time together. Obviously, we wanted to do a little better today, but I think just walking together and having a good time. I was walking pretty fast on 18 and he says, ‘Slow down, Mommy. I want to enjoy this moment.’ So, I think that’s kind of what we did all week.”
The PNC Championship is a two-day event, taking place over the weekend. It boasts an exceptional lineup of world-class players, including legendary names like Gary Player and Tiger Woods.
