Is Masters Round 3 suspended? Play resume date, time, and more

Masters 2023 Round 3 has officially been suspended due to heavy rainfall at Augusta National Golf Club.

The official Twitter handle of the tournament shared the news with fans,

"Due to inclement weather conditions, the third round has been officially suspended for the rest of the day as of 3:15 p.m. EDT. Further information will be announced once available."

Before the suspension on Day 3, Brooks Koepka cemented his spot at the top of the leaderboard. Jon Rahm stands second in the rankings, whereas Sam Bennett made history after he finished third, becoming the first amateur golfer to do so after 36 holes in a masters tournament.

The game resumes on April 9, Sunday, if the weather conditions are favorable enough. It would be an exciting competition to see if defending champion Scottie Scheffler, who jumped from T28 to T14 on Saturday, pulls out something miraculous on Sunday morning.
