On Sunday, November 24, Maverick McNealy carded a 2-under 68 to win the RSM Classic 2024, beating Daniel Berger, Nico Echavarria, and amateur Luke Clanton by a single stroke. This marked his first-ever win on the PGA Tour.

McNealy earned a paycheck of $1,368,000 for winning the RSM Classic. While this is his first million-dollar check, he is no stranger to the terms millionaire and billionaire, as he is the son of Sun Microsystems co-founder Scott McNealy.

Scott McNealy co-founded the technology giant in 1982 and currently has a net worth of over $1 billion (as per Celebrity Net Worth). He replaced Vinod Khosla as CEO of Sun in 1984 and held the position until 2006. The company was acquired by Oracle Corporation for $7.4 billion.

While Maverick McNealy is the first professional golfer in the family, Scott is also skilled at the game. He is considered one of the best golfers among executives and serves as the commissioner of the Alternative Golf Association.

Besides, Maverick also has younger siblings named Dakota, Colt, and Scout. Interestingly, Scout was on the bag for his older brother this week.
