The Open Championship is the last major of 2024, which starts on July 18 and ends on July 21. The Open Championship will continue for four days and takes place on Royal Troon. The PGA schedule has a total of four majors in a year.

The season started with the Masters Tournament, which took place in Augusta National in April. The winner of the Masters Tournament was Scottie Scheffler. Then, in May, the second major of the tour, the PGA Championship took place in Valhalla Golf Course and Xander Schauffele was the winner. Next, the US Open took place in June at the Pinehurst course and Bryson DeChambeau won.

After these three majors are over, only the Open Championship remains. After the Open Championship, two PGA events will take place followed by the FedEx Cup events. The PGA event scheduled after the Open Championship is the 3M Open, which takes place at the TPC Twin Cities near the end of July.

Then, in August, the Wyndham Championship will take place at the Sedgefield Country Club. The FedEx Cup playoffs will begin on August 15 with the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The next FedEx Cup event is the BMW Championship and the last event is the Tour Championship. With that, all the important events on the PGA roster conclude. Last year, the FedEx Cup was won by Viktor Hovland.

In the fall season, the PGA has a few less popular events, including the Napa Valley Golf Championship, the Black Desert Championship, the Shriners Children's Open and the RSM Classic, among others. You can check the full list of the fall season tournaments below:
