Minjee Lee and Hannah Green are in Paris to compete in the women's golf event at the 2024 Olympics. They will represent Team Australia and will look to perform better than their male counterparts. Australis's Jason Day had a decent outing as he finished T9 for the event, while Min Woo Lee finished T22.

The Australian team has been having team dinners for the last couple of nights, with all golfers coming together. During the pre-round press conference, Minjee Lee and Hannah Green spoke about their conversation with Jason Day.

"It seems like the guys talk much more about golf than we do. Even yesterday they were just talking about golf swing positions and things like that. I honestly don't talk about that at all. Sometimes even at the golf course, I don't even talk about it," Green said.

"Like Jason Day was air gripping and stuff like that, all the golf mechanisms. A little different perspective of what we talk about and how when we have dinner, we don't talk about golf at all. It was just nice, just a different perspective that he has and what Min has," Lee revealed.

Green continued and said it was great to hang out with them in a different environment, and they talked about the food a lot.

How have Minjee Lee and Hannah Green fared at the Olympics?

The Australian duo of Minjee Lee and Hannah Green are competing in their third and second Olympics, respectively. Lee has been representing Australia since the 2016 Rio Olympics, while Green made her debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Minjee Lee's best performance came at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she finished T7 and missed out on a bronze medal by two strokes. She finished T29 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Hannah Green missed out on a medal by a whisker in Tokyo. She was T5 for the event and missed a podium finish by three strokes, as Nelly Korda secured gold.

The Australian duo will hope to perform better this week and secure a medal at the Olympics for the first time.
