Joaquin Niemann expressed his desire to make a DP World Tour comeback in an appearance on the Flushing It Golf podcast on November 29th. The 26-year-old Chilean professional golfer currently leads the Torque GC team on LIV Golf.

On the podcast, the host asked Niemann questions about LIV Golf and the DP World Tour among other topics. The host asked the Chilean about his DP World Tour status:

"I'm really intrigued by your membership on the DP World Tour because obviously you play on LIV now and there are sanctions against live players. So have you appealed against your fines and your suspensions?"

Niemann said in response that he will be making a comeback to the DP World Tour in 2025, adding that his primary intention was getting into the Majors. He said:

"So yeah, yeah, I mean, I renewed my membership. I did have a few fights for last year, last season, but yeah, I mean, I, I feel like it was worth it to join as a member of the DP World so I can get into to the Majors and try to get some world ranking and all of that"

Furthermore, Niemann went on to speculate that the LIV Golf will probably be concluded by August. He added that there are other players apart from him who are yet to renew their membership and that all of them as 'great assets' for the sport.

"I feel like all the guys that renew the membership are great players. They're great assets for the game of golf. They're a big support for DP World as well, you know, for all the fields."

Niemann concluded the topic by saying that it would be 'pretty special' to come back to the DP World Tour.
