John Daly claps back at reports of him losing $55,000,000 in gambling

John Daly this week responded to a report that said he had suffered a huge loss while gambling. The American golfer reportedly lost $55,000,000 in gambling from 1990 to 2007, as per Golf Digest. The media outlet shared a post about Daly's gambling loss on Instagram.

Daly reshared the story on his Instagram account, where he has 785K followers. The two-time major winner clapped back at the claims with a caption saying:

"Want to know how much I won😉...here, hold my @goodboyvodka."

The American golfer tagged his Good Boy Vodka brand in the caption. Daly actively promotes his brand on Instagram by sharing pictures.

Meanwhile, his gambling habits have also made headlines over the years. In one of his interviews in 2022 with Variety, the two-time major winner revealed that his biggest loss in gambling was around $6.2 million.


John Daly set to play at the PNC Championship 2024

The American golfer has been enjoying time away from the greens for a while now. However, he will be returning to play at the 2024 PNC Championship. The father-son duo challenge features a stellar field, including the likes of Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods, among others.

John Daly has been a part of the competition for a while now. He won it in 2021 alongside his son, John Daly II. This year, Daly will be returning to the greens with his son.

John Daly and John Daly II were the runners-up in 2018 when Davis Love III and his son Dru Love registered a three-shot win in the game. In 2021, they registered a two-stroke win over Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods and then finished as runners-up in 2022. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason Langer won the event in 2023 and will return to defend the title in 2024.
