John Daly gives a glimpse of his 'Saturday mood' at the PNC Championship

John Daly is seemingly enjoying his time playing with his son John Daly II at the ongoing PNC Championship. The American golfer joined the stellar field of this week's unofficial PGA Tour Champions event, which kicked off on Saturday, December 21, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.

John Daly recently took to his Instagram account to share his "Saturday mood" on the greens while playing at the PNC Championship. He shared a video of himself dancing on the greens. The two-time major winner wore multi-colored shorts paired with a green polo and white sneakers.

John Daly and John Daly II had a solid outing in the opening round of the PNC Championship. They shot three back-to-back birdies on the first three holes before adding another birdie on the par-5 fifth hole. They shot five birdies on the back nine for an impressive round of 9-under 63 and tied for ninth place with Team Cink, Team Stricker, Team Duval, and Team Korda.

Meanwhile, after the first round of the PNC Championship, Tiger Woods and his son Charlie were impressive and took the lead in a tie with Team Langer and Team Singh. They all finished in a three-way tie for first place at 13-under. Team Lehman and Team Harrington tied for fourth place at 12-under.

When will John Daly tee off for the second round of the 2024 PNC Championship?

The second round of the PNC Championship will take place on Sunday, December 22. Competitors will start their game at 9:10 a.m. ET, with Team Price and Team Player starting the round. Team Daly will team up with Team Duval and tee off at 10:02 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, Team Woods and Team Langer will start at 10:54 a.m. ET.

John Daly and John Daly II won the PNC Championship in 2021 and were also runners-up twice. They settled in second place in a tie with Stewart Cink- Connor Cink and Retief Goosen- Leo Goosen in 2018 when Davis Love III and Dru Love registered a win in the game. Team Daly then registered a win in 2021 over Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods, and in 2022 they were runners-up when Vijay Singh and his son Qass Singh won the tournament.
