John Daly has a brand new platform launching called the Lion's Den. The former Major winner wants to see his fans excel in golf, so he's offering a new platform that should help them improve with better gear, more rounds and more.
In the video, Daly said:
"Hey, everybody, John Daly. Come join Lion's Den, my home. A lot of improvements, it's going to be a great time. Hey, keep your handicap there and everything else. Come see us at the Lion's Den. God bless you, grip it and rip it! Come grip it and sip it with me!"
The new platform has three levels of subscription. The Amateur level is $9 a month and includes:
- Keeping a handicap
- Members-only shirt and exclusive gear
- Access to GHIN app for handicap tracking
The Pro level costs $25 a month. It adds everything from Amateur as well as one free round per year at the Lion's Den with a $15 cart fee and a Daly-brand Melin hat, shirt and Pro V1 golf sleeve.
Finally, the Champion package, which costs $45 a month, includes all the above benefits but bumps the free round per year to monthly. Visit https://joinlionsden.com to sign up for one of the three packages which are 50% off if you sign up for a full year.
Former NFL coach shares incredible John Daly story
Former Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden, who now works as a content creator with Barstool, recently shared an incredible story of when he subbed in to caddie for John Daly.
Gruden set the stage by saying he was with Daly and they were drinking beers, which is how many Daly tales start. He then went on:
"I had Daly's bib on, we were meeting fans, taking pictures, and the tournament director came back. He says, 'Mr. Daly, you got 15 minutes to get in position. We're going to play four or five more holes before it gets dark.'"
Gruden had taken the bib from the caddie who had also had some drinks. When he and Daly went to warm up before play resumed, Daly said that since Gruden looked like his caddie, he could go ahead and serve as it.
The bag, which Gruden said weighed 100 pounds because of some Diet Coke cans and other items, was only carried for a few holes by the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach, who needed a bathroom desperately after drinking all the beer.
When he did, he got cheers from fans on the 17th hole. However, he revealed that golf pundits ripped him for "not having any etiquette" when caddying for John Daly in a tournament.
