Fans reacted to the news of Bryson DeChambeau signing a major Reebok deal under a video posted by LIV Golf on X on December 13, 2024. The LIV Golfer recently agreed on a long-term deal with the American footwear and clothing brand.
In the video, Bryson was sporting a dark blue Reebok tee and white trousers while teeing off at a course. As DeChambeau kept hitting the ball as hard as he could, holes could be seen forming on a white board placed in front of him. As he finished and walked towards the camera, fans could see the Reebok logo on the board.
"A man of the people… @brysondech is so back. Reebok announces long-term partnership with Bryson DeChambeau and @Crushers_GC #LIVGolf"
Fans jumped in to share their takes on the collaboration on social media. Some of them even referenced John Daly due to the excellent driving distance DeChambeau hits. Daly was called Long John due to his long driving distance off the tee. He recorded the longest average drive of 306.8 yards in 2002. When it came to driving distance, Daly topped the PGA Tour charts for 11 times from 1991 to 2002.
"John Daly would be proud," a fan praised.
"Daly approves," someone penned down.
"Let's go!", another fan wrote.
"Golf is slowly coming to its senses again," a fan wrote.
"He'd hit it a lot further without the board in the way," someone commented.
"He never left," Flushing It Golf commented.
Reebok will relaunch its golf brand in March 2025 and will partner with Bryson DeChambeau and Crushers GC. Reebok will provide apparels and golf shoes for Bryson, Anirban Lahiri, Paul Casey and Charles Howel III. As reported by GolfDigest.com, DeChambeau said:
“I’m incredibly excited to be partnering with Reebok Golf as their lead man. They’re not afraid of being a little bit irreverent, and I think that’s the cool piece about it. We’re looking to do something a little different in the golf market and modernize it.”
