John Daly was recently spotted smoking at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. The two-time Major champion is gearing up to compete for the 2024 PNC Championship starting on Thursday, December 19.

Popular golf account NUCLRGOLF shared a picture of John Daly smoking while playing golf at the course. In the picture, the 58-year-old can be seen wearing sunglasses, a white shirt, and colorful shorts with a red and green pattern. They captioned the post.

"PHOTO — John Daly has arrived at the PNC Championship and was seen ripping a dart on the course earlier today as he and his son began their preparations."

John Daly will be playing with his son John Daly II at the 2024 PNC Championship. He confirmed participation at the tournament a few days ago on Instagram. He had written:

"Team Daly is back again this year for the 2024 @pncchampionship ! Tune in December 19th - 22nd to see me and @johndalyll grip it and rip it. #pncchampionship #golf #golfer #johndaly #teamdaly"

The duo won the PNC Championship in 2021 by two strokes over Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods.

Who are the past winners of the PNC Championship?

The first PNC Championship was played in 1995 at Vero Beach, Florida. Raymond Floyd and Raymond Floyd Jr. won the tournament's inaugural edition by a margin of six strokes over Hale Irvin and his son Steve Irvin. Raymond Floyd and his son won the tournament five times in 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, and 2001.

Bernhard Langer equaled their record of winning the tournament five times last year. He has won twice with his son Stefan (2005, 2006) and thrice with Jason (2014, 2019, 2023). Larry Nelson has also won the tournament thrice, twice with his son Drew and once with Josh.
